Translation of phraseological units with a gastronomic component

Abstract

The study is focused on the analysis of the English gastronomic code.The code is analyzed with the help of the material of phraseological units the “food product” component and translation ways.The author consistently proves the position that the units of gastronomic code are extremely important for the understanding of English mentality.
