The problems of phonetic interference in speech of cadets

The article explores the problems of the phonetic interference faced by cadets while studying English. At the initial stage of learning a second foreign language, in our case English, phonetic interference presents the greatest difficulties. Some typical phonetic mistakes that appear in the speech in English are discussed. Special attention is paid to prosodic interference which is the most stable and widespread problem.
