Abstract

Obviously, the role of lung microbiocenosis in the pathology of COVID-19 can have a strong influence on susceptibility to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and on the severity of the disease in general, moreover, the state of lung microbiocenosis plays a leading role in the formation of an immune response against a viral attack, and can influence the outcome of COVID-19 infection and the development of ARDS. In the future, studies of the microbiocenosis of the respiratory tract and lungs in patients with COVID-19 infection (complicated and uncomplicated forms) and comparing them with the severity of this disease will be in demand.
