Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to inform about the importance of girls’ education and its importance in economy, politics and social life. As most people know, in the past in many countries it was almost impossible and forbidden for girls to get an education. However, by now this concept has changed drastically. The reason why people want education of women and girls not only for themselves but also for family members, society and it is also proved to be very important and useful for economy and also to reduce disappointments. During the past times, women, especially girls, have suffered a lot of discrimination by men, which has led to an increase in their mortality, unemployment and especially, social problems will increase due to illiteracy of women and girls. Currently, Gender Equality for Girls has been established, which ensures girls’ quality education and safety. At the same time, UNICEF also makes a great contribution to the education of girls and creates opportunities for girls and women who receive and do not receive material and spiritual education. As a result, illiteracy is also prevented.
